The Belle Berners breeding program is all about raising the healthiest, happiest and most sound Berners. All dogs are bred to the AKC standard with OFA ratings of good or excellent for hips and normal for elbows. All puppies are home raised and highly socialized to be well adjusted dogs. All puppies are sold with a written contract and two year guarantee on hips.
We are available for the life of your puppy and offer an alternate home kennel environment when families go on vacation. Belle Berners are placed in loving home environments with families who are looking for a loving companion to be part of the family. Berners are very social and need to be with their families, they do not do well in kennels or left in the back yard. One should research the breed before choosing to buy a Berner puppy to see if this loving breed is the right choice for you.
Belle Berners is located in Crown Point, Indiana on 40 acres of woods and trails. Our dogs are free to run the property daily and are always finding something to get their beautiful coats dirty. You are invited to come visit our dogs and see just how beautiful and loving this breed is. However, if you do choose to come for a visit, make sure you wear some outdoor type clothing. Our dogs are very affectionate and love to give big berner hugs!
